Lever VC Passes First Close of its Fund II, Secures Initial $50 Million USD for Food and AgTech Investments

Lever VC Fund II also announces the completion of its five first investments into innovative tech startups across North America, Europe and Asia

New York – Lever VC announced this week that it has passed the first close of its Fund II and raised an initial $50 million USD for early-stage investments into promising companies across the global Food and AgTech ecosystem. Lever’s Fund II will remain open to new investors until its final close later in the year.

Building on the strong track record of its $80 million USD Fund I, Lever VC’s Fund II has secured a range of LPs including institutional investors, funds of funds, family offices, and leading food and agriculture companies from across five continents. Lever is a leading sector specialist in the Food and AgTech sector, with the firm’s Funds and Partners having completed over one hundred investments in the category over the past eleven years. The firm includes an in-house scientific and technical team and tracks over six thousand startups in the space globally.
